Casten, Foster, Skilling Hold Climate Change Forum In Naperville
NAPERVILLE, IL — Representatives Bill Foster and Sean Casten be in Naperville on July 13 to host a forum on climate change. The forum will also include input from WGN meteorologist Tom Skilling, climate scientist Doug Sisterson, and other experts.
The climate change forum is open to the public and will explore the state of climate change, its effect on the environment, and measures that can help to prevent it. Those who attend will be able to ask questions and share feedback with speakers, including Mary Gade, from Gade Evironmental Group and North Central College Professor Paul Bloom.
The topic of climate change has been an important issue for both Casten and Foster. Casten's work outside of Congress includes scientifically researching and starting businesses that focus on clean energy habits and battling climate change. Foster, a physicist by trade, has pioneered legislation to prevent climate change and been outspoken about his belief in the dangers of climate change.
The forum will be held at on July 13 in North Central College's Wentz Hall from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m
