Congressman Sean Casten Tours State-of-the-Art COD Health Labs
Rep. Sean Casten (D-6th) explores state-of-the-art labs and learning technology in the Health and Science Center at College of DuPage with COD President Dr. Brian Caputo and Board Chair Maureen Dunne during a recent tour of the facility.
Casten recently facilitated a $500,000 federal grant to modernize simulation apparatus used to train students in the College's Dental Hygiene, Nursing, Radiography and Sonography programs. The equipment will continue COD's offering of safe, immersive settings that prepare students for various careers in health care.
College of DuPage is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Serving approximately 21,000 students each term, College of DuPage is the largest public community college in the state of Illinois. The College grants seven associate degrees and offers more than 170 career and technical certificates in over 50 areas of study.
