Casten Announces DuPage Pads CEO April Redzic as Guest to the State of the Union
Washington, D.C. (February 6th, 2023) - Today, U.S. Congressman Sean Casten (IL-06) announced DuPage Pads CEO and President April Redzic as his guest to President Biden's State of the Union Address to Congress.
DuPage Pads is the county’s largest provider of emergency shelter and supportive housing. For 35 years, they have been fighting to end homelessness in DuPage County and support the journey from dependency to self sufficiency for the individuals they house. April Redzic has led this mission for the past two years, after almost two decades of experience working with housing nonprofits across the Chicagoland area. Under her leadership, DuPage Pads has experienced a 90% success rate in their supportive housing clients retaining housing.
