Crisis Center for South Suburbia provides services for victims of domestic violence, including intimate and non-intimate partner violence. Services include emergency shelter, transitional and rapid re-housing, emergency financial assistance, community counseling, court advocacy in the Markham, Bridgeview, and 555 Chicago courthouses, and case management and referral services.

Senior Home Sharing provides group home, family-style housing for independent seniors living on a low/fixed income. They also provide roommate matching to help seniors in need of housing while helping other seniors remain in their homes, as well as home-based mental health counseling for seniors.

St. Cletus Food Pantry operates a mini-grocery store that serves residents of Lyons Township. St. Cletus Food Pantry offers fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy, nonperishable items, household supplies, pet supplies, diapers, and personal items. The pantry is also available to help with a limited amount of financial assistance to those who qualify.

The Outreach House helps families when they are most vulnerable and insecure by focusing on the root causes of this insecurity related to food, clothing, diapers, and utility shutoffs. They do this through their core programs: the Food Pantry, the First Things First infant needs program, the Clothes Closet, and the Walk-In Assistance program.

Chicago Dental Society Foundation Dental Clinic provides free basic dental care, partials, and dentures. They are an appointment-based clinic and do not offer emergency dental services. They do not provide implants or braces. Patients must provide proof of household income at or below 200% of FPL to qualify for services. Patients must contact the clinic to obtain qualification paperwork and schedule an appointment. They do not bill for services, nor do they accept payment of any kind, except donations.

Pathlights is a human services organization that provides services and supports to adults over 60 years of age, adults with disabilities, and caregivers. Services include home-delivered meals and safety checks, in-home services, support groups, education, support and respite for caregivers, protection from abuse, access to cost savings programs, assistance needed for safe transportation from hospitals or skilled nursing facilities, housing information, and general information about resources.

Pillars Community Health provides medical, dental, behavioral health, substance use, domestic violence, and sexual assault services. They accept most major insurance plans, offer a sliding fee discount program, and provide many free services to ensure access to compassionate, whole-person care.

VNA Health Care’s primary care center in Villa Park, IL offers primary care services for individuals and families. Their board-certified providers offer sick care, checkups, lab testing and vaccinations, house calls, home health, hospice care, chronic condition management and healthy lifestyle counseling, among other services. Mental & Behavioral health services are available via telehealth. Obstetrics, immediate care, pharmacy, physical therapy, massage therapy, ultrasound, mammography, and podiatry services are available to patients at nearby locations throughout the western Chicago suburbs.
VNA Health Care accepts insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, and self-pay patients. Their staff can help patients apply for benefits to cover care. Spanish-speaking staff are available, and translation services can be provided for most languages. Evening and weekend appointments available.

DuPage Legal Aid provides pro bono legal assistance to low-income residents of DuPage County in the areas of family law such as divorce, child custody and visitation, orders of protection, and guardianships. DuPage Legal Aid is an application-based program, meaning people must apply and meet income and residency requirements before they are approved for services. They also refer callers to any organization that may be able to help them with their legal issue if they cannot.
